99 पेटी शराब के साथ एक गिरफ्तार

जोधपुर. बिलाड़ा पुलिस ने सोमवार देर रात नाकाबंदी कर एक ट्रक में रखी 99 पेटी अंग्रेजी शराब के साथ एक आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया है। ट्रक के आगे चल रही दो मोटरसाइकिलों पर सवार तस्कर अपनी बाइक छोड़कर फरार हो गए। पुलिस ने ट्रक के साथ दोनों बाइक भी जब्त की हैं। जब्त शराब की अनुमानित कीमत दो लाख रुपए बताई जा रही है।

पुलिस ने बताया कि सोमवार को मुखबिर से सूचना मिली कि एक ट्रक में बड़ी मात्रा में शराब लाई जा रही है और इसके आगे दो बाइक पर सवार युवक ट्रक चालक को रास्ता दिखा रहे हैं। पुख्ता जानकारी के आधार पर पुलिस ने नाकाबंदी की। रात करीब साढ़े ग्यारह बजे पुलिस को दो बाइक व ट्रक आता दिखाई दिया। नाकाबंदी देखकर बाइक सवार अपने वाहन छोड़कर अंधेरे में कच्चे रास्ते से भाग गए, लेकिन ट्रक का चालक पंजाब के होशियारपुर निवासी अवतार सिंह पुत्र शंकर सिंह को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। ट्रक की तलाशी में चंडीगढ़ निर्मित अंगे्रजी शराब के 99 कार्टन मिले। पुलिस उससे पूछताछ कर फरार तस्करों का पता लगाने का प्रयास कर रही है।
