जोधपुर। मारवाड के अधिकांश इलाकों में मंगलवार को तेज धूल भरी हवा ने पारा लुढका दिया। फलोदी और जैसलमेर में दिन का पारा करीब पांच डिग्री तक गिर गया। इससे लोगों को तपिश से तो निजात मिली, लेकिन नमी बढने से पैदा हुई उमस ने पसीने छुडा दिए।

सूर्यनगरी में गत आधी रात के बाद शुरू हुआ धूल भरी हवा का सिलसिला मंगलवार को भी बने रहने से शहर का अधिकतम तापमान दो डिग्री गिरकर 40.2 डिग्री रिकॉर्ड किया गया। धूल भरी हवा के चलते जहां घर और दफ्तर मिट्टी से भर गए, वहीं दुपहिया वाहन चालकों को सबसे अधिक परेशानी हुई। बगैर हेलमेट वाहन चलाने वाले आंखों में धूल जाने से परेशान हो गए, वहीं मौसम में उमस रहने से शरीर से निकले पसीने और धूल कण चिपकने से खुजली की भी शिकायत रही। देर रात तक मौसम ऎसा ही बना रहा।

जिले के फलोदी कस्बे में अधिकतम तापमान कल के मुकाबले करीब पांच डिग्री गिरकर 42.4 डिग्री दर्ज किया गया। क्षेत्रवासियों को तपिश से तो राहत मिल गई, लेकिन धूल भरी हवा और उमस ने लोगों को परेशान किए रखा।

बाडमेर और जैसलमेर में दिन का पारा क्रमश: 42.2 व 39.6 डिग्री रहा। तेज हवा की वजह से धोरों से उडती धूल से स्थानीय लोग जरूर त्रस्त रहे।
