जोधपुर. प्री कन्सेप्शन एंड प्री नेटल डायग्नोस्टिक टेक्निक एक्ट (पीसीपीएडीटी) 1994 की खामियों का डॉक्टर जमकर फायदा उठा रहे हैं। इस एक्ट में सोनोग्राफी जांच के लिए एक ही डॉक्टर के अलग-अलग केंद्र पर पंजीकरण कराने की आजादी के चलते जोधपुर शहर में कई डॉक्टरों ने दो से पांच केंद्रों पर पंजीकरण करवा कर लाइसेंस ले रखे हैं।
हालांकि एक्ट के अनुसार इस तरह के मामलों में पूरी तरह स्थानीय अधिकारियों की जिम्मेदारी है कि वे यह सुनिश्चित करें कि ऐसे डॉक्टर अलग-अलग केंद्रों पर कितना समय दे रहे हैं, लेकिन जोधपुर में अधिकारियों का काम लाइसेंस जारी करने तक ही सीमित है।

स्थानीय सीएमएचओ कार्यालय से पिछले एक वर्ष में एक डॉक्टर को तो छह केंद्रों में सोनोग्राफी जांच करने का लाइसेंस जारी कर दिया गया। इनमें तीन तो शहर के जाने-माने अस्पताल हैं और तीन अन्य जांच केंद्र हैं। इनमें एक केंद्र का मालिक तो खुद वह डॉक्टर ही है। ऐसे में इस बात का सहज अनुमान लगाया जा सकता है कि 24 घंटे में एक डॉक्टर छह केंद्रों पर किस तरह काम कर सकता है? दो व तीन केंद्रों के नाम लाइसेंस उठाने वाले डॉक्टर भी खूब हैं।
