जोधपुर. नागौरी गेट कलाल कॉलोनी मोहल्ला विकास समिति के तत्वावधान में गुरुवार को शिव मंदिर में विष्णु और लक्ष्मी माता की तीन-तीन फुट की मूर्ति स्थापित की गई। इस दौरान यजमानों ने अग्रिहोत्र में आहुतियां देकर प्रदेश में अच्छी बारिश की कामना की।

मूर्ति स्थापना समारोह की शुरुआत मंगल कलश यात्रा के साथ हुई। इसमें महिलाओं ने सिर पर कलश रखकर नागौरी गेट से कलाल कॉलोनी शिव मंदिर तक कलश यात्रा निकाली। अष्ट धातु से बनी दोनों मूर्तियों की स्थापना से पूर्व वैदिक यज्ञ का आयोजन हुआ।
